Airports
Miraflores IV is aproximately 40 minute from Alicante airport and 35 minutes from Murcia airport. Alicante has several daily flights from the UK in particular with budget airlines

We have not used Murcia airport yet but understand it is a good alternative to Alicante but with less amenities.

Buses
Buses are a very cheap way of travelling in Spain.
There is a bus service that runs from Alicante airport to the Torreveija bus terminus.(7 Euros PP) Here you can get a connecting bus to Playa Flamenca or take a taxi which will cost approximately 15 Euros.
The below link is a timetable of the Airport to Torrevieja bus service, please note the latest bus leaves the airport at 21:00 and several Uk flights arrive after this time.

There is also bus service that runs from Torreveija to Playa Flamenca. The property is approximately 10 minutes walk away from the bus stop. Price is approx 2 Euros pp
Car Hire
There are the usual list of car hire firms availble, both on and off airport. We have used OK Mobility who are based on the airport and the transaction was simple and smooth. Prices vary massively depending on the time of year and how busy they are. But we have paid about 100 Euros for a 3 day trip in May for a small car. This was a similar price to the return airport taxi price so we considered it better value.

Cycling & Bike Hire
Cycling is a great way to explore the area. It is generally fairly flat in an around the area and bike hire is available from a local store that is a 15 minute walk away. We have not used them but understand they cover all options including e-bikes, child bikes and trailers.
